Dr. Katherine Abbott

Dr. Katherine AbbottDr. Abbott is a native of Northern Virginia. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine with her MD in 1987. From there she moved to Washington, DC to do her residency in Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital National Medical Center. In 1990 she began private practice in Manassas, Virginia, was board certified in 1991 and became a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Dr. Cioletti to form Crestwood Pediatric Associates in 1993, and assumed the position of Corporate President when Dr. Cioletti retired in March 2004. Dr. Abbott has been active at Prince William Hospital, helping to begin the Pediatric Hospitalist Program, the very successful ER Jr., starting the Pediatric Grand Rounds Program, and sat 4 years as Chairman of the Physician Credentialing Committee. Dr. Abbott has been listed in the Washingtonian's "Top Doctors" edition for the last 6 years. She currently lives in Chantilly, Virginia with her husband and six children. In all aspects of her life, she is devoted to children. "So much of the advice I give to my patients and their parents comes from having been there and done it myself."
